This new edition of the Fallibroome Collection presents in one volume all the dances published in six small volumes by Bernard Bentley between 1962 and 1980, together with the twelve dances he composed to a set of Contretänze by Beethoven, published in 1990 under the title “A Fallibroome Garden’.
Nicolas Broadbridge is a dancer, teacher, researcher and musician whose previous publications include Purcell’s Dancing Master, a comprehensive collection of dances to the music of Henry Purcell, and The Assembly Dances, a volume of eight original dance compositions and tunes, mostly in eighteenth century style. He has also collaborated in the editing of New Wine in Old Bottles and Holland as seen in the English Country Dance.
